Current Control Pad Battery Install

Objective:
To install the Current Wireless Control Pad Battery
Equipment Needed:

1. 2mm hex wrench
2. Flat head screwdriver

1. Remove the Control Pad

   1. Use a 2mm hex wrench to loosen and remove the control pad clamping bolt. Remove the control pad from the handlebar, as shown below. 

      
      

   2. Use a flathead screwdriver and turn the battery cover counterclockwise and then remove the cover. 
      

2. Replace the battery 

   1. Lift out the old battery and set it aside. 
       

      

3. Install the New Battery

   1. Install a new CR1632 coin style battery into the cover side. Place the flat (+) side of the battery down into the cover so that the rounded (-) side faces up, as shown below. 
       

      

   2. Install the cover plate back into the control pad and use a flat head screwdriver clockwise until it is fully latched.  
      

   3. Replace the control pad onto the handlebar and carefully thread the clamping bolt into place using a 2mm hex wrench. Position the control pad to the desired orientation and carefully snug the bolt to 0.8-1.2Nm.
